Mexico

Previous

My journeys in Mexico are limited as follows: one month in the Yucatan Peninsula in 2014 (to include a side trip to Chiapas); a month in Oaxaca in 2012; a three-week trip to Jalisco and Colima in the mid-1980’s; two-weeks in Jalisco during 2017; a day trip to Teotihuacan in the state of Mexico; a day in the state of Puebla; two days in the Ciudad de México; and several trips to Chihuahua and Sinaloa over the last few years (this being written in late 2019).  These trips (note map below) afforded me a variety of human cultural and natural history experiences, which are captured in the pages dedicated to the individual states (right).  A visit to the state of Mexico to see Teotihuacan is described on my earlypeople.org website.

I do not have a general travel video on Mexico.  Instead,  videos for many of the locations listed to the right, can be found on those specific pages.

The Birds of Mexico video portfolio has video of individual bird species and The Birds of Mexico photo gallery includes species from all over the nation.  At the bottom of this page you will find a listing (with links) to images (video & photograph) of bird species I have recorded in Mexico.  Immediately below is a framegrab from the video of a Collared Aracari, recorded in Chicanná, Campeche, Mexico.
